John's Review: wow…amazing time doing this…rob had left back in ‘87... after some uninspiring auditions, we tried our old mate joe “hasnobladder”!!! ...perfect!... worked on these songs & got the combat deal... little to zero budget & went to a studio i’d done a project in earlier that year in utica ny... conveinient in that we had a apartment above the studio…lots of fiddling with the board behind the engineers back...! a really good album (check out the remastered cd on century media - sounds WAY better...)... i remember mark, actually playing “die for allah” all the way through off the top of his head into a tape recorder... totally improvised on the spot!... joe sneaking back in the studio at 4.00am chased by someones boyfriend... nuts!!!!!
