I've been nabbing the Raven goods, wherever & whenever I could, for the past 3 decades. I thought my fellow lunitics might want to put a listen to some of it. I uploaded it on megaupload & all you need to do to have it is to click the link and follow the pages instruction.

Here's an old cassette recording from a Dutch radio show ,from back in 1984. The setlist is legendary and the audio quality rates about "A to A-" . A true treasure for any original Ravenfan.

1984 - Radio Show In Holland
01 - Take Control
02 - Mind Over Metal
03 - Firepower
04 - Break The Chain
05 - Run Silent Run Deep
06 - I Don't Need Your Money
07 - Rock Until You Drop

mp3 format 61.07mbs ... SO GET IT!

I'll post some more in a bit, so let me be gathern it already.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing! Downloaded and added to iTunes library.

Sound quality is excellent! Perfect actually considering the insanity! Mark's solo on Mind over Metal is just sick.

Gotta agree with you. That "Mind Over Metal" lead is fully rabid & off the chain.
Some wicked-sick tour that was...

2-Day BangYourHeadFest-Balingen Germany- June 22 & 23rd, 2006

This Event Info was previously posted on this board by John, back in June of 2006.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hi!!!
finally back home after our BANG YOUR HEAD appearance - we kicked ass!! We did the warm up show at the WOM club on Thursday just a few miles away from the main festival site in Balingen,Germany.

We did a 65 min set & made sure we mixed it up - we made sure we did
different sets for each gig…

Heres the club set:
TAKE CONTROL
LIVE AT THE INFERNO
ALL FOR ONE
CRASH BANG WALLOP
BREAKING YOU DOWN
SPEED/RUN/MIND MEDLEY
INQUISITOR
ON & ON
BREAK THE CHAIN
(with bits of: “ain’t no fun..”-AC/DC, “dog eat Dog - AC/DC, “rock the
nation”-Montrose etc..)
one of the hottest club shows we’ve done - performace AND the temperature!!!
sound was great - audience crazed & we just had a blast!!

Friday - the van arrives late, we arrive at the festival site, I am ushered
up to the stage to confer with the stage manager to be told the German
government have some officials checking all the wireless units used by the
bands & only “prescribed frequencies” can be used…fearing I’m gonna be
chained to a mike stand instead of having my headset mike I cross me fingers & hand over my gear to the govt. guys…they come back & all is well - thank God!

The stage has a large area backstage with 3 drum kits on risers - the change over period between bands is an amazing 15 minutes - ultra pro crew - the old drum kit is wheeled off, the new one wheeled on..we set up our racks & pedals…do a quick line check, are introduced & we are on! weather is glorious - not sure how many people but its a LOT..and they are totally into the show!! huge stage with a platform reaching into the crowd & side wings out by the P.A. -
we are all over them of course!
Day2 :
TAKE CONTROL
LIVE AT THE INFERNO
LAMBS TO THE SLAUGHTER
ALL FOR ONE
BREAKING YOU DOWN
ROCK UNTIL YOU DROP
BASS INTERLUDE(TYRANT OF THE AIRWAYS BIT)
Mark’s amp blows up…impromptu bass solo follows as they get him a
Marshall…
SPEED/RUN/MIND MEDLEY
BREAK THE CHAIN
(this time with “I’ don’t need no doctor”-Humble Pie - in the jam bit…)
guitars are trashed & we all end up on the front platform taking a bow -
just THE BEST!!! an amazing reception & we are well pleased!!!

Thanks to Horst & Jagger and all involved with the festival - and to everyone we met - and especially the fans, such a great atmosphere & reception!!!

cheers, John"

I received these 2 CD-Recordings from my closest, illegally insane, Mash-Metal-music co-collector & all-around audiologist, just a week after this skull-smashing celebration took place. Unfortunately,I wasn't able to attend the occasion, but was still asssured that all went well & I would not be dissappointed with these top-shelf,audience source rips.

HAMSTONER ROCKS!!

I have harrassed my local neighbors, with both of these shows chronically for the last few years. I apologize for not posting these performances sooner but I have been uncommonly busy with the wife & the girlfriend not getting along (very often),pet hangnails, dented hair & managing my on-line, MeatCake recipe website. But now that my eyes are finally, closer apart again, I was able to megaupload a stack of wax and other random earsnacks.
---here are the downloadable looney-links!
1st Day : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DZUFXNTI
2nd Day: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=11K4FI39

These are 99mb & 114mbs sized files. The converted format is mp320
If "flac" or any other lossless formats are preferred -- Just post it in your reply and I'll add the links to this thread

BTW: The latest Raven studio release "Walk Through Fire" is jam-packed with timeless,Raw Raven Riff-Resin and is some of the band's grittiest rage-rippin' attitude... to date.
So...Don't just sprawl around lazing! If you havn't already nabbed yourself a copy of the disc ...GO BUY IT TODAY!
Infinite Thanks Out To The Loons! Stoke

Beggars can't be choosers, but if FLAC is available, that'd be vastly preferred - Thank you if so!
