the blue one is a "First Act" bass..they actually make starter instruments but have a custome shop..its a killer bass a little like the old Gibson RD basses..
and the white T-bird I made myself!!

DAMN!!!

I was actually in New York City all of last week! I searched the Village Voice, asked the guys at the hotel, etc. and I couldn't find ANY decent shows! WHY, OH WHY, DIDN'T I LOG ONTO THE LOONIE BOARD last month?!?!?!? For one subway ride to Booklyn and $20 I could have seen Raven again!!!

I hope you guys who went know how lucky you are!!!

Hey, jj69, I hear ya. That's frustrating.

I've mentioned this in the past, but there's a way to send a broadcast email to all registered users of the message board. I have a phpBB message board on my web site and there's a link to send a "mass email" in the admin area. I'm guessing the Loonie board has the same function since it's also a phpBB forum. Of course, technically, message boards users registered to post messages, not receive email. I suppose that wouldn't be proper "netiquette" or whatever. But, hell, if it's just a heads up to the fans about some gig dates, I don't think that's abusing anyone's trust.

Anyway, just throwing that out there as an idea to John or whoever is running the loonie board these days. You may want to try out that mass email tool next time you have a one-off show in a big city like Brooklyn. Just preface the email with "As a registered member of the RavenLunatics.com Message Board, we thought you'd like to know about an upcoming Raven show..."
